Minister Farrakhan stands as the inheritor of the mantle and position of the major Black leader whose strength and magnetism has earned him the broad based support and approval of the masses within Black America. He is the Garvey of this era ; he is the Martin Luther King of this era; he is the continuation of his beloved teacher the Most Hon. Elijah Muhammad . And his dutifulness to his teacher's message has catapulted him to the top of the list of Black leaders who enjoy the largest amount of mass appeal. Yet this appeal and magnetism has also earned for him the hatred and opposition of the white power structure, who have in turn victimized the Minister with a steady assault on his name, reputation and ideas. This book exposes the well-spring of historical, scriptural, and empirical support for the Minister and his ideas. We maintain that to vindicate Minister Farrakhan is to vindicate of the similarly maligned strong Black leaders of the past who paved the way for Minister Farrakhan and were some of the first sufferers of the white power structure's "smite the shepherd, scatter the flock" strategy.
